As a real estate professional, you know raw MLS listing data sometimes contains errors and can be tricky to aggregate correctly, potentially leading to embarrassing mistakes.
Our skilled IT team, with over 15 years of experience working with dozens of MLSs, has developed a rigorous process to validate and cleanse incoming data. All feeds coming in are checked through a combination of automated processes and human review. We have thousands of lines of code to ensure that prices don't have missing (or extra) zeroes, off market dates come after on market dates, and numerous other conditions that could bias the numbers. In addition, key statistics that we generate are checked against stats from the previous month and year to help ensure accuracy.
After each update we go a step further, checking a random sample of observations back against the MLS to ensure accuracy.
